
The search for a Yekaterinburg man who went missing on his way home in a red Peugeot has been suspended.
Volunteers have suspended the search for 38‑year‑old Marat Gaynetdinov, who went missing on September 28. According to acquaintances of the man, he was found dead, writes E1.RU.
As previously reported, in late September Marat was visiting Verkhoturye and on the morning of September 28 drove home to Yekaterinburg in his red Peugeot 107. However, he never appeared at home or at work.
It became known on the evening of Friday, October 3, that the search for Marat Gaynetdinov had been suspended. The volunteer search group LizaAlert clarified that work was put on hold "to verify information." At the same time, several of the Yekaterinburg resident's acquaintances told E1.RU that he had been found murdered. The Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region declined to comment.
