A new convenient check-in and baggage drop-off system for passengers has been introduced at Koltsovo.

Koltsovo has updated its self-service baggage drop system: it now registers passengers and prints boarding passes.

Koltsovo Airport has begun installing next-generation kiosks from the BAGS ID service. Previously they only allowed travelers to drop off baggage themselves; now they also allow passengers to check in for their flight and receive a boarding pass on the spot.

Ten such units are planned to be installed for passengers in the near future. Kiosk check-in follows the same time limits as online: from 24 hours before departure until 40 minutes before the flight.

Baggage can be checked starting six hours before departure. As before, the service is available to domestic flight passengers who have completed online check-in. Passengers simply place their suitcase in the kiosk — the system automatically weighs and measures the baggage, checks the data against the fare, and confirms the drop-off.

The service is currently available to passengers of nine airlines: Ural Airlines, Red Wings, Aeroflot, Pobeda, Rossiya, Utair, Yamal, Smartavia and RusLine.

The innovative kiosks can be found in Terminal A, next to check-in counter No. 39.
