The woman driving a KIA Rio was injured in a crash involving a SITRAK truck that occurred this morning on the Yekaterinburg–Nizhny Tagil–Serov highway. The crash was caused by the truck, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia for Sverdlovsk Oblast reports.
On Tuesday, November 25, at around 8:15 a.m. at kilometer 346 of the Yekaterinburg–Nizhny Tagil–Serov highway, a 43-year-old driver of a SITRAK truck, traveling toward Serov, lost control and, according to preliminary data, first collided with a GAZ vehicle and then with a KIA Rio.
As a result of the accident, a 40-year-old woman who was at the wheel of the KIA was taken to the Serov City Hospital with injuries.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
