During the New Year holidays, passengers at Koltsovo Airport will have around 80 destinations available for travel.
From December 31 to January 12, flights from Yekaterinburg are scheduled on 49 domestic and 31 international routes. Flights — both scheduled and charter — will be operated by more than 30 airlines.
The largest number of departures and arrivals will traditionally be to Moscow and St. Petersburg. During the holidays there will also be more date options for flights to Sochi and Novosibirsk. Among international destinations, the highest traffic is expected on flights to Dubai, Sharjah and Sharm el-Sheikh. Istanbul, Dushanbe and Tashkent are also listed among popular international routes.
The peak day in terms of number of flights will be the last working Monday of the year — the airport will handle 205 flights. During the holidays the busiest day, according to forecasts, will be Saturday, January 10, when 191 flights are scheduled.
