A video has emerged showing the crash of a private Robinson helicopter at a holiday resort in Perm Krai.
The crash of a private Robinson R44 helicopter was captured on video. The Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office published the footage on its Telegram channel.
"According to preliminary data, on January 7, 2026, during daytime, the crash of a private Robinson R44 helicopter occurred near the Ashatli-Park recreation base in Perm Krai," the agency said.
The circumstances and causes of the incident are being investigated. The prosecutor's office did not provide information on the dead or injured, but the regional EMERCOM reported that two people who were on board the two-seat helicopter died.
Telegram channel Baza learned that the deceased were Ilyas Gimadutdinov, the founder of the large transport company Tattranskom (TTK), and Elmir Konyakov, the head of the company's motorcade. According to Baza, the flight was unauthorized.
The LLC is registered in the village of Yelpachikha in Bardymsky District and is engaged in freight transportation, 59.RU reports. The organization's fleet has more than 300 vehicles and it employs over 500 people.
The Ashatli-Park recreation base, located in the village of Pechmen in Bardymsky District of Perm Krai, is a local ski resort situated in the Semselyakskaya Shishka tract. After the incident, the ski complex was temporarily closed to visitors, RIA Novosti reports.
