Yekaterinburg will have intercity bus service with Kazan as early as January. 66.ru reports the opening of services to the capital of Tatarstan.
The bus will run overnight on weekends along the M-12 high-speed highway. A one-way ticket will cost 5,000 rubles. Travel time will be 10.5 hours.
The first trip is scheduled for January 10. Buses will depart from Yekaterinburg’s "Severny" bus terminal and arrive in Kazan at the "Vostochny" bus terminal. Departure from Yekaterinburg is on Saturdays at 22:00, arrival in Kazan at 06:30.
No stops in other localities along the route are planned. There will be technical stops en route in accordance with work and rest regulations.
"The services are operated by Transport Company 'Profil' using comfortable large-class tourist coaches," the Severny bus terminal press service told 66.ru.
Earlier in December it was reported that direct bus services from Yekaterinburg to Moscow appeared for the first time. They also operate from the "Severny" bus terminal.
