In Yekaterinburg, many children were hospitalized after eating food from a café at the Limpopo water park.

In Yekaterinburg a cafeteria located in the Limpopo water park at 2 Shcherbakova Street was closed for 30 days. The decision was made by the Chkalovsky District Court due to violations of sanitary standards, the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Sverdlovsk Region reports.

The inspection was prompted by emergency reports from the city's children's hospitals: several children were diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection. During the investigation Rospotrebnadzor established that all the sick children had eaten products at this cafeteria. The inspection revealed violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

The court found that the identified violations posed a threat to the life and health of children and ordered the food outlet's operations suspended for 30 days.

Bailiffs sealed the entrances to the cafeteria and warned management of liability in case of resuming operations. The court's decision has been carried out, the bailiff service reported.
