On May 12, 2026, bailiffs held the bank administratively liable for excessively demanding debt repayment from the debtor. In less than a month, the woman received 55 calls demanding repayment of the debt, reports the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region.
A Yekaterinburg resident filed a complaint with the Federal Bailiff Service regarding overdue financial obligations under a comprehensive banking service agreement with the bank. The woman began receiving calls on her mobile phone demanding the repayment of the debt.
"The bank employees exceeded the permissible number of phone calls when interacting with the citizen, namely more than once a day, more than twice a week, more than eight times a month, and also did not comply with the legally established time intervals, calling between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM, which violates Federal Law No. 230-FZ," the press service of the agency stated.
As a result of the inspection conducted by specialists from the supervisory and regulatory activities department of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region, the deputy head of the Federal Bailiff Service held the bank administratively liable under part 1 of article 14.57 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation, imposing a fine of 400,000 rubles. "The director of the organization was informed that, in accordance with part 1 of article 32.2 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation, the fine must be paid no later than 60 days; failure to pay the fine within the time frame provided by law will result in an administrative fine of double the amount of the unpaid fine," the agency reported.
The fine has been fully paid.
